Summary: Tesla, SpaceX, Cybertrucks, X, Brycen Scott….all of them coming to you from Elon, and rumor is Scott has a certain ‘Musk’ about him, that draws the eyes of many, including this Louisville staff.
Joining the Cards from Elon College, Brycen still has multiple years of eligibility and is looking to take that next step in his progression. Scott has great speed, and even returned punts for the Phoenix at one point, but what drew the attention of Division I programs this past offseason was his coverage, leading the team last year with seven pass breakups, and over 30 tackles. While I don’t think Scott slides right in it is nice to pull in a guy with some experience who can learn the defense, and then still has a few years left to play after 2026. I’d project Scott to maybe get some rotational reps or serve as a support piece if injuries become an issue, but a nice addition for 2027 and beyond, I hope.
