The Tulane Green Wave men's basketball program is gearing up for another season, which begins a little more than two months from now.
Veteran head coach Ron Hunter is entering his eighth season at the helm, and he's brought in a fresh roster of new faces. The team signed 10 players over the summer, including seven transfers and three freshmen, to replace some lost production. The Green Wave will look to improve upon a disappointing 2025-2026 season in which it finished with an 18-15 overall record and an 8-10 mark in conference play. Tulane reached the second round of the American Men's Basketball Championship before seeing its season come to an end.
On Tuesday, Tulane released its non-conference schedule, which features a mixture of eight home games and six neutral site or true road contests. The team will also host an exhibition game against the Spring Hill College Badgers on October 28th before opening up the regular season on November 2nd. Of note, the team will not play any Power Four schools.
The Olive Green and Sky Blue also has the unique opportunity to play in the Fort Myers Tip-Off during the week of Thanksgiving. This event will showcase 10 different teams from a variety of conferences.

Additionally, Tulane will welcome the South Florida Bulls, Charlotte 49ers and Florida Atlantic Owls to Uptown, and the program will travel to face the UAB Blazers, Tulsa Golden Hurricane and North Texas Mean Green. Times and dates for those matchups should be announced in the coming weeks.
