1. FC Union Berlin have reached an agreement to sign Michel Aebischer from Italian outfit Pisa SC, according to Sky Germany.
The German capital club will pay a reported transfer fee of €3.5 million, plus potential bonuses, to bring the Swiss international to Germany.
With Union having already agreed personal terms with the player, the transfer is expected to be completed soon.
Aebischer, 29, joined Pisa from Bologna last summer. A versatile midfielder, he has made 44 appearances for Switzerland at senior level.
