SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The No. 21-ranked Angelo State volleyball team is poised to have another great season this fall, as Chuck Waddington marks his 19th season as head coach.

The Belles are the preseason favorites to repeat as Lone Star Conference champions.

They will open the season this weekend when ASU hosts the annual Kathleen Brasfield Invitational at the Junell Center on Friday and Saturday.

ASU finished 26-8 overall, 15-2 in the LSC and 16-0 at home last year.

Belles senior outside hitter Madi Parrish is the LSC Offensive Player of the Year for the second-straight season.
