Here is a look at 10 Arizona high school football players who stood out during the first week of play for small schools (3A, 2A, 1A) on Aug. 20-21.

1. Oliver Rodriguez, Chandler Prep, WR, Sr.

He had four catches for 261 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-7 2A rout of Scottsdale Prep.

2. Kage Finch, Eagar Round Valley, QB, Sr.

He had scoring runs of 34, 10 and 9 yards in the second half and gave the Elks a 9-6 halftime lead with a 15-yard scoring strike with 28 seconds left in the second quarter, as the Elks' 30-14 defeated Chandler Seton Catholic Aug. 21. He ran for 104 yards on 14 carries. He also intercepted a pass playing safety.

3. Benjamin Wolfley, Buckeye Trivium Prep, RB, Sr.

In a 28-6 win over Phoenix Cortez in 2A, he ran 19 times for 315 yards and two touchdowns.

4. Caden Ozment, Tucson Catalina, QB, Sr.

He completed 7 of 14 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two scores in a 28-20 win over Tucson Santa Rita.

5. Tank Hamblin, Lakeside Blue Ridge, RB, Sr.

In a 40-34 win over Chinle, he ran for 175 yards and three touchdowns. He also had five tackles on defense.

6. Jamerrius Anthony, Cortez, QB, Sr.

In the 28-6 loss to Trivium Prep, he ran 19 times for 181 yards and a TD. He completed nine passes in 12 attempts and had a 45-yard kickoff return. He had three tackles, one for a loss, and a pass breakup on defense.

7. Kody Dodson, Chandler Prep, QB, Sr.

In the win over Scottsdale Prep, he passed for 398 yards and three TDs, completing 11 of 21 passes. He ran for 84 yards and two scores.

8. Braylon Rupp, Page, WR, Jr.

In a 48-23 win over Kingman, he caught seven passes for 169 yards and three TDs.

9. Gio Young, Phoenix Christian, RB, Sr.

In a 34-28 win over Tucson Tanque Verde, he ran for 178 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries.

10. Corbin Wood, Show Low, RB, Sr.

In a 35-6 3A win over Eloy Santa Cruz, Wood ran for 190 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries.
