WEBB CITY, MO. — The Webb City Cardinals hosted the Joplin Eagles, the 2024 Class 2 State Champions Lamar Tigers, and the 2026 Class 3 State Champions Seneca Indians in their jamboree before their 2026 season.

First up on the North end of the field was Joplin versus Seneca, Eagles quarterback Trenton McCadney found wide receiver Malakai Peckham downfield for the touchdown.

On the South side of the field was Webb City against Lamar, Cardinals running back Levi Vanbecelaere found the gap and turned on the jets and was in the endzone a touchdown.

Staying on the South side, but game two was between Seneca and Webb City, Indians quarterback Klay Davidson handed the ball of to Indians running back Brailen Hicks for the touchdown.

Back to the North end of the field, it was Lamar against Joplin, Tigers running back Terren Williams took the ball himself and he was in the endzone for a touchdown.

We caught up with Seneca's head football coach Cody Hilburn on Webb City's jamboree.

Hilburn said, "I think it's one of the best jamborees in the state. If you look at the success of all four teams and getting four like-minded teams together to get a few reps in. It's pretty exciting for our kids. It's a great opportunity for us to see some bigger schools, Webb City and Joplin, and find out some stuff we need to improve on before week one."
