It is Friday night. Or at least it was when this game started.
The Orioles have beaten the Athletics by a 4-3 score over a ten-inning contest. It was, frankly, a stupid game where a lot of things happened that should have caused the O’s to lose, except, they didn’t lose. Brandon Young pitched seven great innings, Dylan Beavers threw out a runner at the plate, Coby Mayo drove in the go-ahead run in extra innings, and then Alex Hoppe got his first career save in closing the thing out.
