Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren exited Wednesday's joint practice with what head coach Shane Steichen said was a groin injury, and he did not return.
However, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Warren is "not expected to miss much time."
Schultz adds that Warren suffered an abductor strain. A source told Schultz that Warren is "going to be fine."
Warren "should be back next week," Schultz wrote.

Warren has been a big part of this Colts' offense since arriving last season. In his rookie year, he was one of the more productive tight ends in football, catching 76 passes for 817 yards with four touchdowns. He was named a Pro Bowler as well.
Among all tight ends league-wide, Warren was tied for sixth in receptions and was fifth in receiving yards, according to Pro Football Focus.
To go along with Warren's pass game production, his ability to help in the run game and his versatility add a level of unpredictability to the offense because he is able to wear so many different hats. This then further opens up the playbook for Shane Steichen.
As good as Year 1 was for Warren, Daniel Jones said recently that in Year 2, he's "doing even better."
