The Denver Nuggets have made some moves during the offseason, but not nearly enough. Right now, it feels like Denver is still waiting to make a big move, though it might take time for Peyton Watson to decide.

For the Nuggets, there's reason to believe they can still make moves on both ends of the court to improve. Right now, it doesn't feel like this is a team that has a chance to win a championship, and that's a problem when they arguably have the best player in the world in Nikola Jokic.

Among the players still out there, veteran DeMar DeRozan is on the market. According to the latest report, the Nuggets have some interest in the future Hall of Famer.

“The Wizards, meanwhile, shifted their intent to sign another veteran this offseason by showing some interest in DeMar DeRozan, pursuing the former All-Star swingman along with teams such as Miami and Denver,” Marc Stein wrote.

It's tough to get a feel for what DeRozan is at this stage of his career, as he still puts up impressive numbers and looks like a serviceable player. However, he probably isn't the same caliber of player that he once was, at least on most nights, and isn't exactly the cleanest fit for what the Nuggets are looking to do.

Denver really plays its best basketball when it is hitting open threes from passes off Jokic, and DeRozan isn't the type of guy who plays well without clogging up the middle of the court, hitting midrange shots.
