COLOMBO: Sri Lanka reached 83-2 at lunch after India enforced the follow-on on the fourth day of the second and final Test in Colombo on Wednesday.
Sri Lanka still trail by 130 runs.
After declaring their first innings on 503-9, India bowled out the hosts for 290.
Sri Lanka’s Sonal Dinusha struck 103, his second hundred of the series, before their first innings came to an end.
Mohammed Siraj dismissed Lahiru Udara (three) and Ravindra Jadeja sent back the other Sri Lanka opener Kamil Mishara (32) in their second innings.
Sri Lanka 130-4 in reply to India’s 503-9 declared
Pasindu Sooriyabandara was batting on 35 with Kamindu Mendis on 10 at the break.
Siraj hurt his rib cage while trying to take a catch and walked off the field.
India are 1-0 up in the two-Test series.
